Tech for Good

The Tech for Good project is a collaboration between ACWDB, Corporate eWaste Solutions (CEWS) and Goodwill of the Greater East Bay. The project provides free, refurbished laptops for low-income residents of Alameda County.

20 laptops per month will be distributed to eligible families – up to a maximum of 200 laptops. Interested Alameda County residents should contact the following individuals based on their city of residence:

Eden Area - Castro Valley, Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and unincorporated areas of Ashland and Cherryland residents:

North Cities - Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, and Piedmont residents:     

 Tri Cities - Fremont, Newark, and Union City residents:           

 Valley Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Sunol residents:
